When research and practice come together – The strength of the ARIMA partnership
The ARIMA research partnership is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), under the "Partnership Grants" program. It unites academic researchers in various social science disciplines and, community organization and public institution partners who provide social services to the public. The partnership research theme is the interconnections of formal and informal networks to address complex problems experienced by families, individuals, and communities. Its originality resides in the co-construction process used to develop projects in local territories as a response to complex, locally identified problems in the area of social and health intervention, whence its motto, "when research and practice come together."
